Avril Lavigne Gets Mean >>

Avril Lavigne, one of the
world's fastest rising
stars, has confirmed her
biggest UK show to date,
dotmusic can reveal.
The singer-songwriter will
be performing live at
London's Mean Fiddler on
Friday September 13, a week
prior to the release of her
debut single 'Complicated'
(out Sept 16).
If you haven't yet heard of
the 17-year-old Canadian
rock chick Lavigne, you soon
will have. She's been
nominated for the 'Best New
Artist' award at the US MTV
Awards and her US platinum
album 'Let Go' (out here on
Aug 26) is currently in the
US Top 5.
Avril made a low-key UK live
debut at The Barfly in
London earlier in the month
where dotmusic grabbed a
quick interview which you'll
be able to see soon.
