The 20-year-old is to marry Deryck Whibley, the frontman of punk-pop group Sum 41. She began dating the 25-year-old musician early last year. Whibley and Lavigne both come from the same province in Canada - Ontario - and reportedly bought a home together in Los Angeles last year. Whibley proposed over the weekend while Lavigne was finishing up the European leg of her tour.
