Avril Lavigne and Derek Whibley Heading For Divorce

Avril Lavigne and husband Deryck Whibley are on a fast track to divorce, according to a new report.

The couple's two year marriage is said to have crumbled after Avril embarked on a world tour that has kept her thousands of miles apart from her rocker hubby.

A source tells the National Enquirer that the pair "have been growing apart for months", adding, "Deryck isn't motivated in his own career, so he's been drinking and partying."

Rumours of their split were fuelled by reports the Sum 41 star was seen at an Los Angeles nightclub last week "huddled at a private table" and holding the hand of an unknown woman.

Avril's rep had not responded to our request for comment at the time of publication.
